Yen Yen Tan is a veteran in the technology and telecommunications sectors. She has over three decades of experience in driving strategy and operational execution in multinational companies.

Yen is currently working part time as Senior Advisor to 2 Private Equity firms, TA Associates, a Boston Private Equity firm focus on growth stage companies and Infrasturure fund team in EQT Partners, a Swedish Private Equity firm.
Her other part time advisory work includes being a consultant in SC Ventures Brain Trust, a venture review forum in creating new business models for the Standard Chartered Bank’s fintech startups. She is also Senior Advisors to global IT Consulting firm’s CEO of Capgemini Asia Pacific and Middle East.
Yen believes in giving back to the community, hence she volunteers in positions that resonate with her cause in STEM education, technology and sports excellence. As the Chairman of Singapore Science Centre, she has been involved in shaping the Centre for further development and in strengthening the Centre’s relationships with various stakeholders and partners. She is also in the Executive Committee of International Women’s Forum (IWF), a global forum for most accomplished women in the world.
Yen Yen plays a pivotal role in Singapore's infocomm industry. Her influence in the technology sector comes not just from her ability to grow markets, but also from her ability as a people-builder. She mentors early stage startups through her startup fund she founded in TNF Ventures. Her past contributions include:

- Corporate Capabilities and Innovation sub committee with the Singapore Government Future Economy

In 2020, she was elected in the inaugural “SG 100 Women in Tech” list, an initiative by Infocomm Media Development Authority and Singapore Computer Society to recognise women who have impressed, inspired and made significant contributions to tech industry in Singapore.
Her passion in sports have helped her build high-performance teams at work. She currently chairs the High Performance Sports SpexBusiness Network Advisory Board for Sports SG. And was a member of ASEAN Para Games Organising Steering Committee.
For her contribution and distinguished services to Singapore, the President of Republic of Singapore appointed her as Justice of the Peace in 2018. She was also awarded The Public Service PBM (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat) Medal in 2020, in recognition for her commendable public service in Singapore and her achievement in her profession.
