Professor Annie Koh is Professor Emeritus of Finance (Practice) at Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University (SMU). She is a renowned conference speaker, panel moderator and commentator. She chairs the Asian Bond Fund 2 supervisory committee for the Monetary Authority of Singapore and is a committee member of Singapore’s Customs Advisory Council. She has recently been appointed board member of Singapore Food Agency with effect from April 1st 2023.

Professor Koh is currently Chairman of Prime US REIT and an independent director of AMTD IDEA Group, Prudential Assurance Company Singapore Pte Ltd, Yoma Strategic Holdings Ltd and EtonHouse Community Fund (Charity), She previously served on GovTech, Singapore’s CPF, HMI, K1 Ventures boards, and was a member of the World Economic Forum Global Future Council from 2019 – 2022, and the HR Industry Transformation Advisory Panel from 2018 – March 2023.

Professor Koh also advises selected single-family offices and privately owned enterprises such as Flexxon Pte Ltd., PBA Group and TOP International, and startups such as Dedoco, Float Foods Pte Ltd, Hyperscal Solutions Pte Ltd, Pyxis Maritime Pte Ltd, and non-profits such as Blockchain Association of Singapore and Cyber Youth Singapore. She has been an investment committee member of iGlobe Partners since July 2010, advisor to CUBE3 Ventures since October 2021, and Asia Food Sustainability Fund since February 2022.. Previously held leadership positions at SMU include Vice President for Business Development; V3 Group Professor of Family Entrepreneurship; Academic Director of Business Families Institute and International Trading Institute; Associate Dean, Lee Kong Chian School of Business; and Dean, Office of Executive and Professional Education.

Professor Koh received her Ph.D. degree in International Finance as a Fulbright scholar from Stern School of Business, New York University in 1988. Her research interests are in Family Office and Family Business, Investor Behaviour, Alternative Investments and Enterprise Risk Management. She co-authored Financial Management: Theory and Practice, 2nd edition (2021), and Financing Internationalisation – Growth Strategies for Successful Companies (2004), co-editor of Asian Family Business: Succession, Governance and Innovation (2020), and author of a number of Asian family business cases and survey reports. In recognition of her contribution to education and the public sector, she was awarded the bronze and silver Singapore Public Administration medal in 2010 and 2016 respectively, and the Adult Education Prism Award in 2017.

Professor Ho is Professor of Medicine, National University of Singapore; Senior Consultant, National University Hospital; and Director, Centre for Innovation in Healthcare, National University Health System. Besides being an accomplished endoscopist, he is an international key opinion leader, being conferred the honorary International Life Membership of the Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India, and made Fellow of Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society, to recognize his significant contributions to the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy. 

Experienced in spearheading collaboration between researchers in Asia, he is Chairman of the Asian EUS Group. He also co-chairs Gut & Obesity in Asia (“Go Asia”) Workgroup, and the USA NIH-NCS initiated Asian Barrett’s Consortium. 

A proven clinician innovator and experienced entrepreneur, he co-invented the Master and Slave Transluminal Endoscopic Robot (MASTER), which has since been spun-off into the start-up, Endomaster. Endomaster became the 2017 Asia’s Best funded MedTech start-up. He also founded two other start-up companies, Endofotonics, a molecular AI based real-time diagnostic system, and Endopil, an ingestible weight loss balloon capsule. He received the Singapore President’s Technology Award in 2012. 

He is the immediate past Vice Dean, School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He is also past Head, Department of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He was President of Gastroenterological Society of Singapore in 2005. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the medical profession, the Ministry of Heath Singapore awarded him the prestigious Distinguished Senior Clinician award. He was conferred the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) in 2017. He has held 6 US-granted patents in medtech products.

As Chief Impact Officer, Sugandhi leads the firm’s approach towards assessing, measuring, consolidating and driving impact outcomes across its portfolio companies, in order to deliver measurable, positive impact alongside compelling financial returns. She also leads investments in South and South-Asia for the firm.

Sugandhi has over 18 years of investing experience in South and Southeast Asia. She was previously Director of Investments at LeapFrog Investments, a billion-dollar impact fund focused on financial inclusion. Prior to impact investing, she focused on Southeast Asia mid-market private equity at emerging markets investor Actis. Sugandhi began her investing journey as a member of the Financial Services team in Temasek Holdings.

An experienced board member, Sugandhi has held board directorships in companies operating across different countries, including India, Thailand, and Indonesia. She currently sits on the board of Cropin, a global artificial intelligence and data-led agri-tech organization based in India; HealthCare At Home, an out-of-hospital care provider in India; Polymateria, a UK based business that has pioneered biotransformation technology for plastic and the enterprise board of the Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the Singapore Management University.

Sugandhi is an advocate of gender equality and actively commits time to mentor women entrepreneurs as well as women-led ventures. She believes that access to education, employment, and entrepreneurship is the key to elevating lives and livelihoods.

Sugandhi holds a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (India), and a Bachelor of Engineering from Maharaja Sayaji Rao University, Baroda (India).

Prof Yaacob Ibrahim is currently a professor of engineering at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) where he is also Advisor to the President of SIT.

Prior to his current position, Prof Yaacob served as a Minister in the Ministries of Communications and Information (2011 – 2018), Environment and Water Resources (2004 – 2011) and Community Development and Sports (2002 – 2004).

Throughout the 16 years as a Minister, he was also Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs. He started his political career as a Member of Parliament (MP) in Jalan Besar GRC on 2 January 1997. He held several political appointments before becoming a minister in 2002.

Prof Yaacob graduated from the University of Singapore with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1980. He worked as a structural engineer with a multinational engineering consulting firm from 1980 to 1984. He pursued his Ph.D at Stanford University from 1984 and graduated in 1989. Thereafter, he spent two years as a post-doctoral fellow at Cornell University. He joined the National University of Singapore as a faculty member in 1990 where he became a tenured member. He took a leave of absence from NUS from July 1998 till his resignation from NUS in August 2018.

He is currently on the Board of Trustees for the Building Construction and Timber Industries Employees’ Union (BATU) and a board member of Surbana-Jurong International. He is advisor to several start-ups and chairs the advisory panel for MobilityX, a transport start up.

He is also advisor to Info-Communications and Media Development Authority’s (IMDA) Kampong Glam Digitalisation Project.

He is currently an MP for Jalan Besar GRC

Mr Koh drives the Group’s digitalisation journey, focusing on efforts to build and scale key digital capabilities across the Group’s businesses. He is also platform founder of the company’s carbon management business, GoNetZero™. 

He has more than 25 years of experience digitalising businesses in various senior roles across the energy, financial, hospitality, logistics and consulting sectors in companies such as Temasek Holdings, McKinsey & Company and PepsiCo. Prior to Sembcorp, Mr Koh led the Future Ready and Future of Work platforms at DBS Bank, a leading financial services group in Asia. He was responsible for 5G, blockchain and Internet of Things applications in cross-industry ecosystems and digital fulfilment via Conversational Artificial Intelligence at the bank. He also founded a tech start-up which he took to profitability. 

Mr Koh holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management from the London School of Economics.

Jan Lim is the Country Head and General Manager of Amazon Singapore’s eCommerce Marketplace Business. Jan’s team covers the end to end of the business across sales & account management, seller recruitment and marketing, strategic partnerships, regional expansion, product and programme development, fulfilment, and operations.  

Jan currently serves as Amazon Singapore board member, as a Member on Enterprise Singapore’s Service Standards Committee and was awarded as an SG Digital Leader for 2023 by the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore.  Jan is a an Amazon APAC Bar Raiser Core Leader, responsible for bringing in talent leader bar raisers and an APAC Student Programs Executive Committee Member, setting the direction for MBA and graduate hiring. As a regional Amazon Bar Raiser & People and Team leader, Jan ensures a strong culture of innovation and customer focus, adding his experience in recognising, hiring, and growing such talent and leaders for Amazon.  

Jan graduated with a Bachelor of Statistics, Computing, Operational Research & Economics from University College London and his prior work experience covers entrepreneurship, digital marketing, consulting and payments across global organisations including Visa, Deloitte, Credit Suisse and EssenceMediacom. 

Robert is a Singaporean business leader involved in Renewable Energy, Built Environment & Sustainability, Technology and Private Equity. He is Chairman of Swan & Maclaren Group, one of Singapore’s prominent architectural, design and illumination engineering firm that contributed to Singapore’s historical landmarks for the past 125 years. Swan & Maclaren Group has presence in 10 international markets including Europe and the Middle-East.

Concurrently, Robert is Advisory Board Chairman of EDPR APAC, a member of EDPR Group listed on Euronext, Dow Jones Sustainability and Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index. EDPR Group is the 4th largest producer of renewable energy worldwide with presence in over 28 international markets. 

Robert is an Independent Director with EDPR APAC, NTUC FairPrice Group, Jurong Port, IMDA Singapore and Alexandra Health Fund Limited. In February 2022, he was appointed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as member of the Corporate Governance Advisory Committee. In January 2023, he was appointed as Chairman of Sustainability for NTUC FairPrice Group.
 
Robert held a distinguished career before retiring in December of 2014. He joined DFS Group (a member of LVMH Group of Companies) global leadership in 2004 and was the Executive Vice President. During the same period, he was President, DFS Venture Singapore and a member of LVMH global CIO council. Prior to joining DFS, Robert was CEO, East Asia at PSA International.

Between 2006 till 2014, Robert was a member of IBM Corporation, Global Advisory Board in New York. His past board directorships of SGX listed companies included supply chain and technology companies. During 2014 till 2018, Robert represented Singapore as a council member for the ASEAN Business Advisory Council and Deputy Secretary for Singapore National Employers Federation.

In January 2020, Robert was conferred Singapore Management University (SMU) Distinguished Fellow and the inaugural Dean’s Fellow with the School of Computing and Information Systems for his contribution as eminent leader in the industry. 

Robert was conferred a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with honours in 1987 and Masters of Engineering Science in 1989 from UNSW in Sydney.

Kheng Nam Lee has extensive experience as a venture investor and technology executive.

He joined GGV Capital in 2005 as a Venture Partner and also served as Chairman of Heptagon through its successful acquisition by AMS. Kheng Nam is also Chairman of Advantec Pte Ltd, an investment holding company, and Chairman of Vertex Management (II) Pte Ltd and Deputy Chairman of Vertex Venture Holdings Ltd (VVH), both wholly-owned subsidiaries of Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited.

Rob is a General Partner at Seraphim Space Manager LLP, the world's leading specialist investor in SpaceTech and manager of the London Stock Exchange listed Seraphim Space Investment Trust Plc, heading up the early-stage investments. He is a co-founder of Seraphim Space Accelerator, which was launched in 2018, and is now among the world’s leading accelerator programmes for SpaceTech start-ups. Under Rob’s guidance the Seraphim Space Accelerator has graduated 81 SpaceTech start-ups, which have collectively raised $300m in co-investment syndicated from over 90 venture capital investors. He is a fund representative on the boards of Xona Space Systems, Altitude Angel and other early stage investments. Rob holds a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Glasgow and a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Information Technology Systems from the University of Strathclyde.

Mr Sebastian Chong is the President of VSTECS (Singapore) Pte Ltd, the Singapore subsidiary of VSTECS Holdings Limited which is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (0856.HK). Mr Chong is also concurrently the President of PT ECS Indo Jaya, VSTECS’ Indonesian subsidiary. Mr Chong joined VSTECS in 1990 and has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry. He is responsible for strategic direction, overall management, including the sales and operations of the enterprise, commercial, consumer and retail segments of both VSTECS Singapore and Indonesia. Mr Chong is also responsible for business development, business strategy and building of long-term relationships with vendors, channels and partners.

Semun joined Singapore Fashion Council in April 2018, where under her leadership, the association secured the appointment to run the Design Orchard co-working space in 2019 and the retail space in 2020, and kickstarted The Bridge Fashion Innovator (TBFI), an incubation programme targeted towards the fashion industry in 2019. In mid 2022, the organisation underwent a brand transformation from Textile and Fashion Federation (TaFF) to Singapore Fashion Council (SFC), to encapsulate its wider purpose in serving the entire fashion value chain. 

Before joining SFC, she was with SGTech (formerly known as Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation) and helmed the organisation for 11 years as its Executive Director. Prior to that, she was the General Manager for Caliper (Singapore office), a HR consulting firm from Princeton, New Jersey. 

She had also worked in Motorola Electronics for 10 years, where she lead roles in Business Operations, Strategic Planning, Product Marketing for the Mobile Device Business in SEA. Semun was subsequently appointed Regional Director to head the SEA Accessory Business where she grew the business exponentially. 

Semun currently sits on the Design Education Advisory Committee (DEAC), ITE Design and Media Academic Advisory Committees (AACs) and Temasek Polytechnic Design Advisory Committee to further strengthen the links between the schools and industry. She sat on the Made With Passion (MWP) Strategic Council for 2021, to promote better awareness for local designers, and is a member of the Technical Committee on Retail Services. 

Albert is currently the CEO, Biobot Surgical Pte Ltd a robotic company focus in prostate management. He is step-changing Biobot commercial capabilities so that Biobot can better impact patients’ health and delight our customers across the globe. He will lead our talented global team to position Biobot’s leading robotic technology to be best-in-class for prostate disease management.   
 
Albert has extensive global healthcare experience and a proven track record in managing diverse markets,  go-to-market strategies and innovative pipeline development. He has spent 26 years in the healthcare industry with the largest healthcare MNCs like Johnson & Johnson and Danaher’s Beckman Coulter in roles of increasing responsibility including sales, marketing, commercial excellence, general management, and product development across different business units, such as Danaher’s Beckman Coulter, Janssen Pharmaceutical, DePuy Synthes, Ethicon and Johnson & Johnson Medical, and geographies including the U.S., U.K, EMEA. and Asia. 

In his last role with Johnson & Johnson, Albert was Vice President Global Commercial Leader, Gastroenterology, Immunology for Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies, based in Pennsylvania, USA. He was instrumental in building an industry-leading pipeline and portfolio in close partnership with R&D leaders. Furthermore, he led a global launch of a mega block-buster brand, Stelara, to transform the standard-of-care in gastroenterology and achieve peak year sales of US$7 billion in 2021. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director for Johnson & Johnson Singapore where he transformed the go-to-market model and achieved high compound annual growth rate (CAGR). Before that, Albert was General Manager, ASEAN for DePuy Synthes and in this role he successfully integrated two orthopedic organizations across six countries, formulated and executed strategic plans for the region and achieved double-digit growth. 

Albert is also an active community member. He was elected Chairman of Medical Technology Industry Group from 2014-2018 in Singapore. He was also on the Board of Directors of the Singapore Association of Pharmaceuticals Industries (SAPI) and the Alumni Advisory Board of Nanyang Technological University Business School from 2015-2020. 

Albert holds a Bachelor of Business, in Marketing from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and MBA from Duke University. Albert and his family currently reside in Singapore.

Anselm Tan is Managing Director at Heritas Capital, which invests across healthcare, education, environment, and technology sectors. He currently serves on the advisory board of the Singapore Deep Tech Alliance, as well as evaluation panels for the funding of healthcare innovations. 

Previously, Anselm was Partner at Philips Ventures, where he launched and led health technology investing in APAC. Anselm started his career in engineering, before holding roles in finance and private equity at Standard Chartered. 

Anselm is Singaporean, a qualified accounting professional, and holds an Electrical & Electronics Engineering degree from Nanyang Technological University. He received professional education at Stanford and was educated in Chinese culture at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Clinical Assoc Prof Goh Bee Tin is Chief Executive Officer, National Dental Centre of Singapore, Chair, Oral Health Academic Clinical Programme, SingHealth Duke NUS and Founding Director, National Dental Research Institute Singapore.

Cl A/Prof Goh obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1993. She then went on to specialize in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, obtaining her Dental Fellowship with the Edinburgh Royal College of Surgeons in 1996 and Master of Dental Surgery from NUS in 1997. She was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2000. In that same year, she was sent on a government scholarship for advanced training in cleft lip and palate and orthognathic surgery in Canada.

In 2004, she furthered her training in craniofacial implantology in Sweden and the United Kingdom. She obtained a PhD in 2009 from Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands for her novel research work on modular endoprosthesis for mandibular reconstruction. Cl A/Prof Goh is also appointed Clinical Associate Professor at the NUS Dental Faculty and Duke NUS Medical School, and Adjunct Associate Professor at the Nanyang Technological University.

She is active in teaching and training postgraduate students. Her research interests include bone bioengineering, oral & maxillofacial device development and novel techniques in mandibular reconstruction. Cl A/Prof Goh is a member of the Singapore Dental Council and the Dental Specialist Accreditation Board. She received the Osteopore Innovation Award for her work in clinical tissue engineering, the SingHealth GCEO Outstanding Clinician Researcher Award and Duke NUS Master Academic Clinician for her academic achievements and the National Day Awards, Public Administrative Medal (Bronze) for her contributions to public healthcare. 

Chew Men Leong is President, Urban Solutions, of ST Engineering, a global technology, defense and engineering group with a diverse portfolio of businesses across the aerospace, smart city, defence and public security segments. Appointed 
to this role on 1 January 2021, he leads the Group’s global smart city business in the areas of mobility, utilities and infrastructure, security and sustainable solutions.

Men Leong previously served as the Group’s Chief Marketing Officer where he oversees the marketing of smart city solutions and defense exports, while holding concurrent appointment as Deputy President and President (Defense Business) for its Marine arm.

Prior to ST Engineering, Men Leong held various senior management and leadership roles in the Government. He served as the Chief Executive of the Land Transport Authority and oversaw operations and transformation of Singapore’s land 
transportation system. He also served as the Chief Executive of the Public Utilities Board and was responsible for ensuring an adequate and sustainable water supply for Singapore.

Men Leong began his career with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and served for 25 years. During this time, he held various appointments including Chief of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN).

Men Leong graduated from Imperial College London with a Bachelor’s degree (First Class Honours) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He has a Master of Science in Management from Stanford University and completed the Advanced Management Programme at Wharton School of Business.

Mr David Tan is the Assistant Chief Executive Officer (Development Group) of JTC, Singapore’s lead government agency responsible for the planning and development of industrial infrastructure to support and catalyse the growth of new industries and transform existing enterprises. He oversees the land planning and redevelopment, architecture, procurement and contract management, as well as the planning and development of JTC’s next generation estates like one-north, Jurong Innovation District, Punggol Digital District and Woodlands North Coast. 

Mr Tan has professional experience in engineering and industry development; having been involved in the planning, design and construction of major infrastructure, building and reclamation projects. He was involved in the development of Jurong Island as the world’s top ten chemical and energy hub, and Jurong Rock Caverns, South East Asia’s first underground liquid hydrocarbon storage and terminalling facility. He was the Deputy Chief Executive of Energy Market Authority from 2007 to 2010 where he was involved in energy policy, planning and development. 

Currently, Mr Tan serves on the boards of Jurong Port Pte Ltd and SLI Holdings Pte Ltd. He is also a member of the Development Projects Advisory Panel of the Ministry of Finance and the MOH Holdings Pte Ltd’s Healthcare Infrastructure and Planning Committee and Project Development Committee.

Mr Tan graduated with a BEng in Civil Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Adelaide and a MSc in Engineering from the National University of Singapore. In 2005, he was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) and in 2014, he was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in recognition of his contribution to the Public Service.

Dr Daniel Fung is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and also the CEO of the Institute of Mental Health in Singapore.  He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at all 3 Singapore medical schools. 

Dr Fung is the President of the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (IACAPAP) (2018-2022) and President of the College of Psychiatrists, Academy of Medicine, Singapore.  Dr Fung has co-authored over 200 peer reviewed research papers, books and book chapters.  Dr Fung has actively been involved in developing telepsychiatry in Singapore and has also developed a number of digital mental health solutions in the last 10 years including a patented novel treatment for ADHD.

Steven graduated from National University of Singapore in 1992 and went on to pursue his interest in Humanitarian and Disaster medicine with the Singapore Armed Forces from 1992 to 2002. Upon completion of his dermatology training in Singapore, Steven went on to Amsterdam Medical Centre, Netherlands, to continue his training in pigmentary disorder, under Professor Westerhof. Upon returning from his training, Dr Steven Thng started the pigment clinic in National Skin Centre as well as set up the melanocyte culture lab to start his work on cultured melanocytes grafting for vitiligo patients. 

Currently, Dr Thng is the head of the pigment clinic, in charge of managing all complex pigmentary disorders in National Skin Centre, and he is also the principal surgeon for tissue grafting for vitiligo.  

Steven took over as Executive Director of Skin Research Institute of Singapore in Jan 2017, and is responsible for the transformation of SRIS from a virtual institute to a dynamic institute, working on 4 main multi-institutional, interdisciplinary research programs of chronic wound, acne, skin microbiome and atopic dermatitis.  

His current research interest is on skin pigmentary disorder, atopic dermatitis, novel drug delivery systems, as well as advanced imaging for skin cancer and skin diseases. He has translated much of his research to improve patient care in dermatology.  

For his dedication in research and patient care, he was awarded Excellence in Public Service Award in 2013, Healthcare Humanity Award in 2014, Singapore Clinician Investigator Award in 2015 and 2016. Steven was also awarded NMRC CSA in Feb 2020 to further his work on in-vivo imaging systems.

A/Prof Tan’s experience spans from acute to community-based hospital care and primary care. His passion lies in the integration of care across the diverse settings that patients will traverse during their care journey. His leadership and academic appointments include Chief Executive Officer and Senior Consultant Physician of St Luke’s Hospital; 
Chairman, Chapter of Family Medicine, Academy of Medicine Singapore and Adjunct Associate Professor at both National University of Singapore and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine & Duke-NUS Medical School.
 
A/Prof Tan was conferred with the following awards during his span in healthcare services:
• MOH National Outstanding Clinician Educator Award 2019 under the National Medical Excellence Awards (NMEA) 
• CFPS ‘The Albert & Mary Lim’s Award’ 2019 (the highest accolade bestowed by the CFPS for contribution and services rendered to the College and the discipline of Family Medicine).
• AIC Super Committed Hero Award 2021 [(served most number of years in the same committee (2010-2020)] and Supertasking Hero Award [(served most number of years accumulatively in various committees (2010-2020)] for journeying with AIC in driving the development and capability building in the community care sector. 
• CFPS “Distinguished Educators Award” on 14 May 2022 (in recognition of leadership contributions to teaching family medicine and dedicated service of at least 10 years in College’s education activities)

Dr Timothy Low currently serves as a member of Farrer Park Hospital’s Board of Directors and was also Head of Healthcare Investment at Pavilion Capital (A Temasek Holdings company). 
 
Prior to this, Dr Low served as CEO of Farrer Park Hospital, a private acute tertiary institution sited within Singapore’s first fully integrated healthcare and hospitality complex. It was awarded “Best New Hospital in Asia Pacific” and “Smart Hospital of the Year in Asia Pacific” in 2016/2017 respectively. 
 
With more than 30 years tenure in both public and private practice, Dr Low brings to this role his operational and medical knowledge. He formerly held the positions of CEO of Gleneagles Hospital and as Medical Affairs senior executive across Bio-Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and CRO industries at Shire/Takeda, Covidien/Medtronic, Schering Plough/MSD, Covance and Glaxo Wellcome, spanning more than 17 years. 
 
Having been conferred the Icons of Healthcare – Leading Healthcare Management Professional of the year in 2018, Dr Low was also awarded the “50 Most Talented Healthcare Leaders of Asia” award as well as “Best CEO of the Year” in 2016 and 2017 respectively. In 2018, he was awarded the “Rare Disease Champion Provider of the Year in Asia Pacific” and was also later recognized as the “ Most Media Savvy Personality ” in 2019. 

Ms Elaine Heng is both Chief Executive Officer for Retail Business and Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer at FairPrice Group (FPG). FPG comprises NTUC FairPrice, NTUC Foodfare, Kopitiam, and NTUC Link. As Deputy Group CEO of FPG, Elaine supports the Group CEO in driving key strategic initiatives across the group to leverage and synergise the different business units and functions. Currently, FPG has a footprint of close to 570 consumer touchpoints, employs over 14,000 staff and has an annual turnover of over $4.5 billion. In her role as CEO of Retail Business, she oversees overall business, strategy, management and success of the Co-operative’s retail business comprising FairPrice supermarkets, hypermarkets, e-commerce platforms, pharmacies and convenience stores across ten banners. Adopting customer-centricity, operational excellence and data driven performance in rethinking retail, she has been instrumental in transforming FairPrice’s business model and ensuring its pole position in the industry. 

Under her leadership, she introduced new and relevant retail concepts, blending cooked food and groceries at FairPrice Xtra outlets in Vivocity, Parkway Parade and a few other heartland stores. She also introduced many firsts, including FairPrice on Wheels to bring groceries to the community during the pandemic, Freshmart and Finest Gourmet to cater to different customer segments. Fairprice also introduced an unmanned Cheers convenience store that leverages Artificial Intelligence to provide enhanced convenience to customers. 

In addition, Elaine led the milestone project on behalf of FPG and NTUC Enterprise to launch digital banking (Trust Bank) into the suite of offerings for the group. Trust now banks more than 10% of Singapore's population within 9 months of launch.  Prior to joining FairPrice Group in 2017, Elaine was a banker, with more than 20 years of retail banking and wealth management experience. 

For her contributions to the industry over the last few years, Elaine was named CEO of the Year (Asia Pacific) 2023 by Retail Asia.

Dr Guan Seng Khoo has over 28 years’ of experience in the design and implementation of enterprise wide investment, banking and risk management models, systems and processes incl. ESG/Responsible Investing. He gained deep practical insights from a career spanning across financial institutions in the USA, Canada, UK and Singapore, including the UK-listed Man Group where he was the Principal Scientist, designing and running an algorithmic AI-based hedge fund, at American Bourses Corporation which provided robo-based analytical solutions and financial info-utilities to traders and investors in the USA and N Asia, at ATOS Origin, RHB Capital, Singapore Exchange, Standard Chartered Bank, Temasek Holdings, Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), CAI, the global airport investment arm of Changi Airport Group (CAG) and AEPW (Alliance to End Plastic Waste). He holds a PhD in Computational Physics (Material Science) from the National University of Singapore, with post-doc R&D in AI-based data mining and applications in Japan and America. He was also a co-founder of the NTU Centre for Financial Engineering and the MSc in Financial Engineering programme in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh in 1999. 

ESG & Sustainable Finance Experience 

When he was the Head of ERM/GRC at AIMCo, he was also the Head of Proxy Voting and a member of the investment committee involved in approving investments via Relationship Investing/Stakeholder Engagement, e.g., in ERM (Environmental Resources Management) and Glass-Lewis, and also, helping to establish the Responsible Investing (RI) Unit in 2011. For the last few years, he has also been leading some initiatives in sustainability-related project and impact financing and education incl. sustainability reporting at AEPW and at sustainable investing seminars for the institutional & investment management and banking industry, at SMU, private and wholesale banks in the ASEAN region and the SWF Academy at the London Business School (Dubai and London campuses) including on harnessing AI in investing. 

Previously, when he was an academic at NTU from 1993 to 2000, together with his Science Faculty colleagues, he co-designed and launched the first Environmental Science module (as a free elective for all the NTU undergrads) in 1997, including teaching on the effects of climate change on human society and biodiversity. Prior to that, he had published a Nature Guide on the Flora and Fauna of Schools in Singapore in 1991 and also participated in a Malayan Nature Society Scientific Expedition to the Endau-Rompin Nature Reserve in Malaysia in 1989 to investigate and research on the changing state of biodiversity due to climate change and human interactions. As an academic, he had also published over 70 papers in renowned academic journals and conference proceedings on materials science, education, banking, investment and risk management topics. 

Ms Hwang is CEO of the National Parks Board. She has over 20 years of experience in public service including with the Urban Redevelopment Authority as Singapore’s Chief Planner and stints in the Strategy Group of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of National Development. She is a board member of the Land Transport Authority, the Science Centre Board, Gardens by the Bay and IJ Board of Management. She currently serves on the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Singapore-ETH Centre’s Future Cities Lab Global Research Programme and the Asia-Pacific Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute. 

Ivan Ng is the Chief Technology Officer of City Developments Limited, a global real estate leader operating across 29 countries. He is responsible for Group IT, Digital Initiatives and Technology Risks Governance.  

With 25 years of leading both businesses and technology teams, Ivan brings unique insights into the innovative use of technologies to create business value. He was the Regional Managing Director for ServiceNow, where he established their Greater China and Southeast Asia businesses, and Chief Technology Officer for Pactera, a Nasdaq-listed IT services company. Currently based in Singapore, Ivan has spent over 15 years residing and working in China, the US, Japan, Indonesia, and Thailand. 

Ivan is currently President of the IT Management Association (Singapore) and serves on the boards of technology companies. He is an advisor to the National University of Singapore, Singapore Gardens by The Bay, and Temasek Polytechnic. He was conferred the Outstanding Alumni Award by the National University of Singapore in 2018.

Prof Damian O’Connell is Chief Executive Officer the Experimental Drug Development Centre, a national platform for drug and biomarker discovery as well as early clinical development, hosted by A*STAR. 

Most recently Damian was Senior Vice President, Drug Discovery – Global Head of Clinical Sciences, Bayer Pharma AG, Berlin – Germany. Clinical Sciences (CS) is a global organization (based Germany, US, Japan, China) with responsibility for the first use of drug products in humans up to Proof of Concept, as well as all clinical pharmacological components of NDAs.

Prof O’Connell previously held senior positions within Pfizer Research & Development, Parke Davis, Elan Pharmaceuticals and Neurex. Prof O’Connell has both MD & PhD degrees from the National University of Ireland, has been a Medical Faculty member of the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center as well as a member of the Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics Department at the University College Cork, Ireland where he was a Professor of Clinical Research. He started his career in the Industry in 1998. 

Prof O’Connell is a Member of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine; Fellow of The Royal Society of Medicine; Fellow of The Royal Academy of Medicine (Ireland); Member of the British Pharmacological Society; Member of the Drug Safety Executive Council (DSEC); Member American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics; Member American College of Clinical Pharmacology; Member of American Society of Pharmacometrics; Member of the Irish Association of Pharmacologists; Member of the Irish Cardiac Society; and Member of the British Hypertension Society.

NG graduated in 1977 with BSc – Civil Engineering from Queen Mary College, London University, MSc - Water Resources Engineering – 1978, and PhD (dissertation on chemical regeneration of activated carbon) in 1980 from Birmingham University.  NG subsequently conducted post-doctoral research on biotreatment systems at Kyoto University, Japan. He is a fellow at the Institute of Engineers, a chartered engineer, and is a registered professional engineer with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.

NG had served as Dean, Faculty of Engineering at the National University of Singapore and this was ranked 9th globally in 2004 by THE. He had served as Dean, College of Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (till 2015) and the College was then globally ranked 5th by US News in 2014 and 2015, and 9th by QS in 2014, and 6th in 2015. During his tenure as Dean, the College of Engineering saw a reversal in declining student interest in engineering and improvement in terms of freshman undergraduate student quality, expansion of industry sponsored research, and formation of joint research laboratories with multi-national companies in domains such as aerospace, manufacturing, and electronics. 

NG had been seconded in 2006 to the then Ministry of the Environment to initiate development of its R&D and funding programme.  Thereafter he founded and led as its Executive Director for 10 years, the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI), before retiring from the position in 2017 and after having brought in cumulative funding of some S$570M. NEWRI had operated as an ecosystem of units covering research, technology development and de-risking, postgraduate education, interface with industry and community, and a cluster of spin-off companies. It carried facilities from laboratory to demo/full-scale (eg. membrane, anaerobic digestion and gasification/vitrification facilities), allowing pursuit of the Research-Engineering-Enterprise-Deployment (REED) value chain espoused by NG and hence had close industry interactions by way of R&D collaborations and technology commercialization while maintaining research depth and excellence.  NEWRI also, unusually, carried its own philanthropic unit with projects at numerous locations in Asia (eg. Indoensia, India and Sri Lanka) providing safe water and sanitation. It had operated with some 360 researchers and support staff. In 2013 NEWRI and NG were identified among the top 9 global environmental engineering research organizations and among the top 25 global environmental engineering thought leaders respectively by LUX Research.  Arising from his R&D management and leadership roles, NG had also served as advisor to research entities in other countries such as the Waterloo Water Institute, Canada. 

NG’s contributions to industry, research, and education have been recognized with the ASEAN Engineering Award, Outstanding University Researcher Award, and the Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Palmes Academiques prior to 2000.  His project on the anaerobic process for low strength wastewater was placed first in the national innovation competition for environmental technologies in 2004, and in 2008 he was appointed the inaugural Tan Chin Tuan Centennial Chair Professor. In 2012 he was honored with election to Fellow Singapore Academy of Engineering.  In 2017 his work was recognised with the IES Prestigious Engineering Award, Singapore Energy Award, ASEAN Engineering Excellence Award, and the President’s Technology Award.  In 2018 he was recognised as among the top 100 scientists in Asia and with the Nanyang Award for Humanitarian Work, and in 2019 was appointed a President’s Chair Professor in Civil & Environmental Engineering at NTU.  In 2020 he was appointed Distinguished Professor at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.  Following retirement from his academic career, he was conferred the Emeritus Professor title at NTU in 2022. 

A/Prof Yeo graduated in 1997 from the National University of Singapore where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. He subsequently trained in the United States of America and obtained his American Board of Internal Medicine Certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional cardiology. Currently, A/Prof Yeo is a senior consultant interventional cardiologist at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS). He is also Chief Executive Officer (CEO), NHCS and Academic Chair for the SingHealth Duke-NUS Cardiovascular Medicine ACP. A/Prof Yeo also serves as the SingHealth Group Deputy Chief Medical Informatics Officer (Research).  

A/Prof Yeo is a Council member of the Singapore Cardiac Society. He is also a Fellow of the American Heart Association, the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), American College of Cardiology (FACC), the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology (FAPSC), the Asian Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology, and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI). He is the Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board for the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology. He has published widely in international peer-reviewed journals and is a peer-reviewer for Circulation, the American Journal of Cardiology, Heart, Journal of the American College of Cardiology: Cardiovascular Intervention, Korean Circulation Journal, Structural Heart, AsiaIntervention, ASEAN Heart Journal, Annals of the Academy of Medicine and Singapore Medical Journal. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Korea Circulation Journal and AsiaIntervention. He has been appointed by the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology to be its Founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the APSC. He is the Past-Chair of the Chapter of Cardiologists, Academy of Medicine Singapore, and the Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board for the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology. He is a board member for the College of Physicians, Academy of Medicine Singapore. 

A/Prof Yeo is particularly interested in the use of percutaneous or catheter-based techniques to treat the mitral valve and the tricuspid valve. He has presented multiple talks in regional and international conferences on the Asian experience with the MitraClip device and has established the MARS registry (MitraClip Asia-Pacific Registry). In his other major research interest, A/Prof Yeo is interested in long-term cardiovascular outcomes in Health Services Research and the use of data science to develop insights into the diagnosis and management of heart disease. He has published multiple papers comparing outcomes in large studies including those from large registries in the USA. He is the PI of the SingCLOUD registry, which is a national registry of all patients with coronary artery disease and heart failure. The SingCLOUD registry will include all restructured hospitals and polyclinics; it will follow clinical, cost and quality-of-care outcomes in these patients for 1-3 years in Singapore. Dr Yeo is also the PI for SingHEART which is a prospective observational study or normal volunteers in Singapore. SingHEART combines whole genome sequencing with deep phenotyping (cardiac MRI, CT calcium score, ambulatory BP and ECG, fitness tracker, and blood tests) and long-term clinical follow-up for 20 years. 

ROBYN DITTRICH is a passionate, high-energy industry professional, with over 30 years’ experience in the Chemical, Mining, Manufacturing, Technology, Financial Services and Oil & Gas sectors. 

Her current role as VP, Global Operations Programs at BHP, oversees and drives delivery of initiatives across multiple teams to eliminate sexual assault & harassment, racism and bullying at BHP, and supports the work of the COO office and BHP board committees. 

Prior to this, she has held VP roles in Procurement, and Analysis & Improvement at BHP and various Sales VP roles for S&P Global, BP, Canon, and Hercules Chemicals, and front-line operational roles at Visy Industries.

Expertise areas include P&L management, business strategy and transformation, CEO & board engagement, driving business growth strategies, commercial innovation, enabling digital transformation, supply chain decarbonisation, organizational capability development, strategic eco-system partnerships, and creating social value. 

ROBYN DITTRICH holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Honours) degree from Monash University, and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School (Heriot-Watt University).

A strong advocate of workplace culture, Robyn is an active contributor to several programs which support,  mentor and provide leadership skills to diverse employees across Asia. Robyn has led several LGBT and Women’s employee networks in several multi-national organisations, partnering with multiple stakeholders to provide measurable, business driven outcomes for diverse talent. Tan Bin Ru is a renowned leader in the Fintech industry globally and a prominent figure in the Singapore blockchain community. As the Chairwoman of the Blockchain Association of Singapore (BAS), she leads the organization with the vision to be the leading industry organization for the advocacy, collaboration, convergence, and fair use of blockchain and scalable technologies in Singapore. 

Bin Ru is a regular speaker at various Fintech events on Artificial Intelligence & Blockchain including Singapore Fintech Festival, Singapore Blockchain Fest, Abu Dhabi Finance Week, Singapore – India Hackathon 2023 (Fintech & ESG) and many more. Through her speaking engagements, Bin Ru aims to promote the adoption and responsible use of blockchain technology in various industries and sectors. 

Currently, Bin Ru serves as President, Enterprise Digital in Singapore Technologies Engineering in addition to her role as the Chairwoman of the BAS,. With over 25 years of experience , Bin Ru has lead several leadership roles in MNCs and startups, Notable roles includes Deputy CEO and COO of ChainUp Pte Ltd, a leading blockchain technology solutions provider for digital asset exchanges and institutions and CEO (Southeast Asia) of OneConnect Financial Technology Co. Ltd., a technology-as-a-service platform for financial institutions. Bin Ru also held various leadership roles at Microsoft and Hewlett Packard. 

Bin Ru's contributions to the Singapore fintech industry have been recognized with numerous accolades, including being named "Top 5 Women in FinTech" and "Asia FinTech Leaders" at the 2019 Singapore FinTech Awards. Bin Ru was also recognized with the "Woman in Fintech" award by Fintech Nation 65 in 2022. She is also a role model for women in the tech sector and was featured in the inaugural Singapore 100 Women in Tech List in 2020. 

Bin Ru holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from National University of Singapore. She is also a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

She is also Senior Advisors to global IT Consulting firm’s CEO of Capgemini Asia Pacific and Middle East.

Yen believes in giving back to the community, hence she volunteers in positions that resonate with her cause in STEM education, technology and sports excellence. As the Chairman of Singapore Science Centre, she has been involved in shaping the Centre for further development and in strengthening the Centre’s relationships with various stakeholders and partners. She is also in the Executive Committee of International Women’s Forum (IWF), a global forum for most accomplished women in the world.

Yen Yen plays a pivotal role in Singapore's infocomm industry. Her influence in the technology sector comes not just from her ability to grow markets, but also from her ability as a people-builder. Thomas is currently Division CEO of Keppel Group’s Data Centres & Networks Division. The Division is part of the Connectivity Platform within Keppel Corporation Limited, a leading mainboard listed company in Singapore. Keppel is a global asset manager with deep operating capabilities in Connectivity, Infrastructure and Real Estate. It currently has S$50 billion of asset under management. 

Thomas’ career in Keppel group started in its Offshore & Marine business in 2002 as a Senior Manager (Merger Integration Office). He was promoted to General Manager (Corporate Development) in 2007 and oversaw the investment, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning. From June 2010 to June 2014, he was CEO of Keppel Infrastructure Fund Management Pte Ltd, the Trustee-Manager of Keppel Infrastructure Trust (KIT), an infrastructure fund listed on Singapore Stock Exchange.

Prior to Keppel, he was an Investment Manager with Vertex Management (United Kingdom), the venture capital arm of Singapore Technologies from 1998 to 2001. Thomas was the Vice President (Central USA) of the Singapore Tourism Board from 1995 to 1998, as well as the Assistant Head (Services Group, Enterprise Development Division) at the Economic Development Board from 1988 to 1995. Both organisations are economic agencies under Singapore’s Ministry of Trade & Industry.

Xiaowei is the Director, Special Projects, Asia of the World Energy Council with the responsibility to build visibility
of the Council and commercial opportunities in the region. Xiaowei is also the Programme Director for the Asia
Strategic Communications Council of the Conference Board, an US Think Tank.

Prior to this, Xiaowei has worked for Shell for over 26 years in various elective roles in China, UK, Netherlands and
Singapore, most recently as the Regional Vice President for External Relations, Asia Pacific till July 2021.
Xiaowei has deep expertise, insights and experiences in stakeholder engagement, sustainability, advocacy, social
performance, risk/issue/crisis management and media relations, and has led projects and campaigns that won global
awards and recognitions.

Currently, Xiaowei is a Board Member of the Marketing Society Singapore, also serves on the Advisory Board of
GGEF, a social enterprise promoting sustainability. She is a lecturer on Sustainability and Strategic Communications
at Singapore universities and colleges since 2023. Xiaowei is a certified Gallup StrengthFinder Coach and a published
author of My Public Affairs Career.

Xiaowei has a bachelor’s degree in art and social science from Beijing Foreign Studies University and a master’s
degree in political economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She’s fluent in Chinese and
English. Xiaowei lives and works in Singapore.

Yipin Ng has been in the venture capital industry for 20 years, focusing on early to mid-term investment in the fields of Infrastructure SaaS and DeepTech. He participated in multiple investments in mobile hardware, advanced manufacturing and TMT sector.  Before co-founding Yunqi Partners in 2014, he spent 10 years at GGV Capital from 2004 to 2014 as a partner out of which the first 4 years he was located in the Silicon Valley office and developed GGV's smart hardware investment business in the US.  Before that, Yipin also worked for GIC Singapore Government Investment Corporation and Sun Microsystems.  He holds a Master's degree from Stanford University and received an MBA from Nanyang Business School in Singapore.  Yipin received Forbes Midas 100 in China awards for three consecutive years from 2017 to 2019. 

Dr Ramesh is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in Shoulder and Knee Surgery. After his residency training in Singapore at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, he completed a Shoulder and Knee Surgery fellowship at the Santry Sports Surgery Clinic in Dublin, Ireland. He also went on to do a further sports surgery fellowship with Hospital Quiron and Hospital Del Mar in Barcelona, Spain. As part of his fellowship stints, he was involved in treating international professional rugby players and soccer players.

He now practises at the Avant Sports, Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, which is part of the Avant Orthopaedics group of clinics. He is available for consultation at his clinics with the Parkway Group of Hospitals –Mount Elizabeth Novena and Parkway East Hospital. He is also a visiting consultant with Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

He consults for general orthopaedic problems, but his main area of expertise is in the area of shoulder and knee surgery. He also has a special interest in treating sports injuries and is one of few surgeons in Singapore who are trained in hip arthroscopy.

Dr Ramesh has a strong commitment to teaching and mentorship. He had been appointed Adjunct Assistant Professor in Orthopaedics for Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (National University of Singapore). He has also served as clinical teacher for Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. He has previously served as Chairman of the Hand Surgery Residency Program in Tan Tock Seng Hospital and is also involved in teaching Orthopaedic Surgery Residents and post-graduates. He has been fellowship program supervisor for clinical fellows from Malaysia, Phillipines and India. He has also been a lecturer and clinical faculty for local and overseas arthroscopic workshops and courses.

Pauline leads the National Health Innovation Centre as Director, facilitating the development and commercialisation of clinical innovations at public hospital groups. Prior to this, she helmed the Innovation and Enterprise Directorate at the National Research Foundation of the Prime Minister’s Office, developing key signatures in Singapore’s tech ecosystem, such as the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH), Early-Stage Venture Funds, and other international and public private partnerships. Pauline has also served in industry as the Chairperson of Technology, Innovation and Productivity at the Singapore Business Federation, Executive Director and Head of Innovation Partnerships at UBS, and COO/CSO at Celligenics

Mr Wong Wai Meng is currently the Chief Executive Officer (Data Centres), Data Centres & Networks Division. He has almost 30 years of experience in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry and currently spearheads the company's thrust towards being one of the leading data centre developers and solution provider in Europe and Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Keppel T&T, Mr Wong was Vice President of BT Advise BT Global Services across Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Turkey (AMEA) where he managed the company's practices in business consulting, systems integration, software development, networking, mobility, collaboration and security. He was also CEO of the BT Frontline group of companies where he played a critical role in the integration of BT Frontline into BT Global Services. Mr Wong now serves as Chair in the Executive Committee of SGTech, Member of the Council and Chair of Digitalisation Committee in Singapore Business Federation, and is active on various industry panels and committees.

Mazi is a seasoned technology investor and advisory professional, having lead over US$ ~350 million in closed deal volumes. 

Notable positions included Presto Automation (Nasdaq-listed), Event & Engagement Enterprise Software player Airmeet (Accel, Sequoia & Naspers backed), and leading spacecraft manufacturers, launch service and space logistics providers Space X and Relativity. 

Mazi held a lead role on PCCW's buyout of Silicon Valley-based VUCLIP, rebranded as VIU (OTT), which is Southeast Asia's leading digital OTT streaming platform having overtaken Netflix. 

Prior to Nexxus Capital, Mazi gained experience with London-based special situations (asset backed/mezzanine debt to equity) investor Tyndaris LLP, and consulting firm McKinsey & Company.  

Mazi received his B.A. from Berkeley, the University of California, in 2004, and his J.D. in Law from Stanford University in 2007
