Professor Rachid Yazami is the recipient of the 2014 Draper Prize of the National academy of Engineering, considered as the Nobel Prize of Engineering for the invention of the graphite anode for lithium-ion batteries back to 1980. In December 2023 he was the recipient of the Grand Prize of the VinFuture Prize in Hanoi. Yazami served the Cheng Tsang Man Chair Professor in Energy at the School of Materials Science and Engineering of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore.

Immanu'el leads Sustainable Solutions at Temasek, where he catalyses initiatives to decarbonise hard-to-abate businesses across multiple portfolio companies. His strategic focus includes investments in next-generation baseload power solutions such as nuclear fission, fusion, and advanced geothermal technologies. In addition, he is responsible for portfolio development of sustainability-aligned joint ventures and platforms at Temasek. 

Dickson Thian is VP of Investments at Xora, where he has played a key role in developing the firm’s early portfolio. Dickson currently serves as Interim Chief of Staff and Board Observer at Amperesand, where he was instrumental in efforts to incubate and launch the company. During his time at Xora, he has been on the deal team for Aether Fuels, Celestial AI, Cosmos Innovation, Hyperlight, SpeQtral, Summit Nanotech and Talus.

A/Prof Henry Ho is the Chairman, Division of Surgery and Surgical Oncology In Singapore General Hospital & National Cancer Center; Chairman of Surgery Academic Clinical Program, Singhealth DUKE-NUS. In addition to overseeing the surgeons’ practice and professional development, clinical operational productivity is another important area of his responsibility.

Mr. Cheong Chee Hoo is the CEO of DSO National Laboratories, focusing on enhancing Singapore’s defence technologies. Joined DSO in 1993 after earning his bachelor's degrees in electrical engineering from NUS, he has significantly contributed to key defence technologies and systems engineering. Beyond DSO, he plays a strategic role in national science and technology as a board member of agencies like LTA and A*STAR.

Fong Saik Hay is currently a corporate advisor with a Temasek Deep Tech Fund, Xora Innovation. 

He is also helping 3G&S nurture Grimes Decarbonizing Technology Platform anchoring her in Singapore. 

Dr. Chueh Loo POH is an Associate Professor with the Department of Biomedical Engineering, College of Desing and Engineering, at National University of Singapore (NUS). He is Director of NUS Biofoundry and a Team PI at National Centre for Engineering Biology (NCEB), Singapore. He is also deputy director of SINERGY, Singapore consortium for Synthetic Biology. His research interests in Synthetic Biology focuses on reprogramming microbes for health and sustainability.
